  • Nick Lachey & Vanessa Minnillo's St Barts Honeymoon!

In what was a blissful experience, photos of Vanessa Minnillo and Nick Lachey show the newlyweds having the time of their life in St Barts.

The just married couple took to the French West Indies locale, where they flaunted their hot swimsuit bodies while enjoying some quality beach time alongside one another.

An onlooker tells that "the happy newlyweds took off their wedding bands as they playfully walked along the beach, while Vanessa skipped stones in the water before they looked at a map of the islands and then swam back to their boat for some cocktails."

The insider on the scene added, "Vanessa tanned her already bronzed body and looked beautiful and happy as she relaxed on the boat, even waving to photographers. The two got dressed and and put on their flashy wedding bands before taking another boat back to shore."

The honeymoon comes after Lachey and Minnillo were married July 15th on Richard Branson?s private Necker Island.

  • 30 Seconds To Mars Call VMA Nominations 'Humbling'

Jared Leto tells MTV News the band will fly overnight from Ireland just to make it to the big show.

At last year's Video Music Awards, 30 Seconds to Mars wreaked havoc on the white carpet, very nearly blinded drummer Shannon Leto with a "glitter bomb" and took home the award for Best Rock Video — all within the span of roughly three hours. Needless to say, it was a night they'll remember for a long time.

Now that their epic, ultra-NSFW "Hurricane" video has been nominated for a trio of awards — Best Cinematography, Best Direction and Best Editing — at the 2011 VMAs, how do they plan to top last year's madness? Well, for starters, they're going to show up.

"I'm not sure if the technical awards are even on the show, but we definitely plan on being there. We're in Ireland the night before, so it will be a last-minute sort of thing," frontman Jared Leto told MTV News. "I'm not sure what'll happen after that. But there's no way we'd miss the show. It's incredibly humbling and exciting to be acknowledged, especially for a very controversial clip like 'Hurricane,' that was banned from a lot of networks to start with. It's great to have it come full-circle and be recognized in this way."

And that controversy — the "Hurricane" clip had to be drastically cleaned up to even be considered at most networks — is just part of the video's mystique. Because more than any of the projects Leto pours his heart into, this one was a true labor of love.

"It was a very DIY project. It wasn't like, 'OK, here's your two days to shoot, you got your crew and everything's professional.' It was very much a guerrilla-style effort, very much a sculpture of sight and sound that we built, and it was great to go through that process that way," Leto explained. "We shot three days in New York, and then I kept shooting and shooting and shooting. I shot many cities around the states and outside the states. We were editing on the bus. I had a great team of people that helped me on this and many other things. [Videos are] as important to us as the songs themselves. I spend as much time on these little mini-movies as I do on the songs themselves.

"I wish there was an award for doing the most with the least. We would've won that one, for sure," he laughed. "We ended up with almost a 14-minute piece, and then another seven to 10 other clips that explored other characters and themes in addition to the video itself."

So, yes, 30 Seconds to Mars will be there on August 28, when the VMAs air live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. And while they might not bring any glitter this time around, they'll definitely be hoping to repeat the other part of last year's show: winning.

"Being nominated is great, winning is even better, but at the end of the day, it's the work that's really the most important, and the people who are enjoying it," Leto said. "The acknowledgement of the project is really great."

The 28th annual MTV Video Music Awards will air live on Sunday, August 28, from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles at 9 p.m. ET/PT. See the list of nominees, revisit last year's highlights and vote for your favorites in the general categories by visiting VMA.MTV.com.

  • Blake Shelton, Incubus Take Over Billboard Chart

Blake Shelton was already a beloved country star before he became a reality-TV double-threat. But thanks in part to his breakout role on "The Voice," Miranda Lambert's better half is reaping plenty of benefits, including a #1 debut on the Billboard 200 charts next week for his new album, Red River Blue.

According to figures provided by SoundScan, Shelton's sixth studio album, his first #1 debut ever and highest-charting album to date, sold 116,000 copies last week. Just behind was the first album in five years from floaty rockers Incubus with If Not Now, When, which debuts at #2 on sales of 80,000. They lead a parade of new faces in the top 10 that also includes country singer Chris Young, whose Neon hit #4 in its first week (73,000), pop smoothie Colbie Caillat's All of You (#6, 66,000), head-bangers Theory of a Deadman's Truth Is (#8, 38,000) and the debut from the rebooted Sublime with new singer Rome, Yours Truly (#9, 35,000).

    The rest of the top 10: Adele's 21 (#3, 77,000), Beyoncé's 4 (#5, 72,000), Jason Aldean's My Kinda Party (#7, 42,000) and Selena Gomez and the Scene's When the Sun Goes Down (#10, 33,000).

A couple of former top 10 dwellers fall to the second rung, including Eminem's Hell: The Sequel project under the Bad Meets Evil banner (#11, 30,000), Lady Gaga's Born This Way (down five to #13, 25,000) and Jill Scott's Light of the Sun (#14, 21,000).

The soundtrack to "Harry Potter: Deathly Hallows, Part 2" comes in at #25, while indie darlings Washed Out crash in at #26 with the excellent Within & Without (#26, 15,000). And it was a short trip to the top 10 for R&B crooner Lloyd, who plummets 39 spots to #49 in the second week for King of Hearts (9,000).

Over on the iTunes chart Caillat sits atop the album tally, followed by Shelton, Incubus, Adele, Sublime, Chris Young, Theory of a Deadman, Beyoncé, Bad Meets Evil and the unstoppable Mumford & Sons' Sigh No More.

LMFAO continue to rule the iTunes singles chart with their summer hit "Party Rock Anthem," which beats out Demi Lovato's "Skyscraper," Katy Perry's "Last Friday (T.G.I.F.)," Nicki Minaj's "Super Bass" and Hot Chelle Rae's "Tonight Tonight." Rounding out the top 10 at #6 are Lil Wayne's "How to Love," Pitbull's "Give Me Everything," Adele's "Rolling in the Deep," OneRepublic's "Good Life" and Aldean's "Dirt Road Anthem."

Things should be fairly static next week, with the only new titles including a new Kidz Bop Kids title and albums from 311, 3 Doors Down and DJ Khaled.

  • Ryan Gosling Declares His 'Crazy, Stupid, Love' For Emma Stone

'She's everything, all the time,' Gosling tells MTV News at film's NYC premiere.

NEW YORK — Ryan Gosling may have an Oscar nomination to his name, but the leading man didn't have to strain his acting muscles too much to portray a man enamored of Emma Stone in the upcoming romantic comedy, "Crazy, Stupid, Love."

When we caught up with the 30-year-old at the movie's New York premiere Tuesday night, he was more than happy to dole out accolades for his co-star. "She's everything, all the time," he said. "There's no one like her. As soon as she signed on for this movie, I knew it was going to be good."

In the film, which hits theaters July 29, Gosling plays lothario Jacob, a love-averse playboy who takes Steve Carell's Cal under his wing to teach him the ways of a skilled pickup artist. Yet, in the end, Jacob himself unwittingly finds love with Stone's Hannah — a role Gosling said was perfectly cast.

"The whole film depends on my character giving it all up for her," he said. "When she came in the room, it all made sense. Show me someone that wouldn't give it all up for Emma Stone, and I'll show you a liar."

The admiration, however, certainly wasn't one-sided. Stone, who stars alongside both Gosling and Justin Timberlake ("Friends With Benefits") this month, had a hard time wrapping her head around her collection of amazing co-stars.

"It's pretty wild, isn't it?" she said. "It's not too shabby. Those Mickey Mouse Clubbers, I'm going to take them by storm."

Check out everything we've got on "Crazy, Stupid, Love."
